Remeberance Sunday

So at the tower of London at the moment you may know about the poppies they are housing there. These poppies cover all of the surrounding ground of the castle with 888,246 ceramic poppies to represent the lives lost in WW1. These poppies have all been sold to the public for £25 each with 10% from each poppy sold going to 6 chosen charities (Cobseo, Combat Stress, Coming Home, Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion and SSAFA) that help war heroes. The red of the poppies in the moat of the tower of London gives a slight change to landmark and looks amazing. These poppies will be there until the 11th of November and then will be removed. It has been named Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red and celebrates the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1.
In the Photo below are some soldiers placing the poppies into the exhibit and showing their respects.
You can donate to the link and money donated will be shared between the charities
